I love weddings! I love to re-live mine through my photos and want you to re-live yours through your photos! I haven't shot a wedding myself, but I have shot many couple sessions have done some shadowing! I personally know from my wedding that photos mean everything. Capturing those moments will be your treasure for the rest of your life and I completely understand that.
